How to Add Engagement Highlights

Capture key moments from your past projects in a memorable manner.

To add an engagement highlight:

  1. Select the Free Edit Icon - Free Download User Interface Icons | IconScout pencil icon on the right hand side, below the cover photo.

  2. Scroll to the Engagement Highlights section.

  3. Add an Engagement Highlight by clicking the Plus icon. You can press the Clear button to remove an engagement from the Engagement Highlights section in your profile. Pressing the Clear button does not delete the engagement from your work history.

  4. Add a past Engagement by searching for your job title in the Search Icon, Transparent Search.PNG Images & Vector - FreeIconsPNG Search bar, then select the job title by clicking it.

  5. Write an overview of the engagement, showing off your accomplishments. There is a 100 character limit for each engagement.

  6. Once you have finished adding engagements, click the Save button.

Tips

  • Tell a complete story in a single sentence—the challenge, your role, and the outcome.

  • Instead of just listing your work duties, highlight specific achievements that you accomplished. Here are some examples:

    • "Negotiated a $5M acquisition, reducing risk exposure by 40%."

    • "Developed a compliance strategy for a global SaaS company, securing approvals in three regions."
